As you may have discovered, there's not anything really wrong -- just unfortunate linebreaking in the gabc source file. Also some strange accidentals... Sorry :-) I'll fix that for the future. Also for the benefit of any other Mac TeXShop users -- I just updated the version on my machine, and found that the latest version (2.26) actually does ship with [pdf]lua[la]tex engines. They are in ~/Library/ TeXShop/Engines/Inactive/luaTeX. So to get them working in TeXShop, you just need to move them up two directories, i.e. into ~/Library/ TeXShop/Engines. Apologies for not noticing before, but I'm not a TeXShop user.
