I think Pierre Couderc had some problems with ubuntu too, the packaging 
with dpkg-buildpackage doesn't seem to work anymore... so the only way 
to get it is to do the procedure described in the section "For other 
GNU/Linux systems":

|$ autoreconf -f -i|
|$ ./configure --prefix=/usr|
|$ make|
|# make install|
|$ cd fonts|
|# ./install.py|
|$ updmap|

tell me if there is something wrong !

The website is in the SVN so every developer can fix it... anyway it's 
always better to mail the mailing-list rather than someone in particular ;)
