did you install using "sudo" for each step ?
did you install the libltdl 3 package ? (you have to find it with the ubuntu
web site)
Can you verify in the synaptic package interface wether or not the gregorio
package is broken ?

I have installed the latest stable version of gregorio on my Ubuntu
Jaunty. Having read through the tutorial, etc., I attempted to create
my first score. However, the file fails to compile.
Here's what I get:

I have removed and re-installed gregorio, but no joy. I'd be very
