I've started revising the images, and this reminds me of some 
observations about puncta inclinata.

The size and spacing of puncta inclinata from Gregorio look smaller than 
in the tutorial's example from the Liber Cantualis.   In a series of 
puncta inclinata, they form a steeper angle.

Any thoughts?
