Hi, Mark--
Let me join you in thanking the developers of Gregorio! It's wonderful
to see it adopted in more, and more extensive, projects.
The gregorio.gabrielmass.com web application (a Perl program) generates
a temporary LaTeX document file (.tex) with a document title and
italicized comments, based on the gabc headers.
After TeX generates a PDF output file, you can also download the
temporary .tex file. (You'll see it's not very elegant!)
If the URL of the PDF file generated is
http://gregorio.gabrielmass.com/tmp/maina12345.pdf
The corresponding LaTeX file is
http://gregorio.gabrielmass.com/tmp/maina12345.tex
Best wishes!

Hello!
And thank you to all responsible for writing Gregorio - I discovered it
today, and was amazed at the speed I could get started!
I am currently playing with the set up described in the tutorials where
you have a GABC file which TeXworks compiles into a TEX file, which in
turn is then included in a second TEX file using the \includescore command.
A question, though:
I notice on Richard Chonak's page
http://gregorio.gabrielmass.com/cgi/process.pl it takes the following
variables directly from the GABC source:-
/name:/ page title
/commentary/: right-justified text above first line
/user-notes/: left-justified text above first line
/annotation/: small text above initial capital
How are these subsequently referenced in a TEX file? I'd like to keep my
Modes, titles, etc., in the GABC files as opposed to having to write
them out each and every time, but don't know how to later reference them
in the TEX file. Any pointers?
Happy New Year everyone!
Mark.
