Dear Gregorio users,

Has anyone tried using Latex to simplify the production of an entire book of
chant that follows the conventions of the old Desclee books (e.g.
Antiphonale Monasticum 1934) in matters such as page headers that reflect
the date of the feast, and different sized text for the various headings
(e.g. having the headings for the hour of the office in one font and other
rubrics in another)?

I've been thinking that it would be good to try to work something like this
out, using sectsty to control the heading fonts and working out a
hierarchical system of headings. Other ideas I've had are automating the
indexing of chants in a large volume using makeidx, and cross references
chants in a volume (e.g. if you have to say "vide supra, etc.") using
\label{marker} and \pageref{marker}

If anyone has experience doing this sort of thing, I would be happy to hear
of your approaches.

Yours,

br. Innocent
