Hello, I use TextWrangler to edit my gabc files on Mac OS X (Lion), and then switch to Terminal to run a modified version of Richard Chonak's gprocess script to compile the GABC and run it into a simple template PDF, which lets me proofread the score with my font settings, etc., before adding it to a larger project.
I noticed recently, however, that TextWrangler has built in Unix commands, which apparently let it communicate with the terminal directly. I was wondering if anyone has configured TextWrangler (or another similar program for Mac) so that they can compile chants directly from within the program. I can't figure out how to set it up myself, that is, to get a script to automatically take the current file name and run gprocess from my usr/bin . Any suggestions? Incidentally, using Terminal in the new full screen mode in OS X Lion can be fun to watch when you compile a big file! You can watch the names and pages flow by with nothing else on the screen.
