When I tried to italicize the character after the big initial, the
generated tex file had this in it:
> \gresetinitialclef{f}{3}{a}%
\gresyllable{\greitalic{}{E}{}}{0}{}{\greitalic{u}}{0}{}{%
> \greglyph{\char 17}{e}{f}{0}{}{}%
> }%
But it doesn't work (trying to compile the tex file has a bunch of errors
and puts crazy characters into the text of the chant) unless I change it to:
> \gresetinitialclef{f}{3}{a}%
\gresyllable{}{\greitalic{E}}{}{0}{}{\greitalic{u}}{0}{}{%
> \greglyph{\char 17}{e}{f}{0}{}{}%
> }%
So I don't know why that happens (and if anyone could fix it in the code,
that would be great), but if anyone else runs into that problem, at least
you should be able to work around it.
