Friends,

I'm curious to know if anyone has devised a way to horizontally center
translation texts below lyrics in Gregorio.

My desire is to achieve something like the effect in Anton Stingl's scores here:

I have used this convention in the Lumen Christi Missal, but have had to
manually center the translations in Adobe Illustrator which is a real chore
when it seems that this is something that could be handled natively in
Gregorio.

The current behavior is for the translation to be left-aligned with the first
word to which it is attached. Is there a way that some kind of bracketed
indicator, perhaps, could be placed after the last word in the group? So it
could be something like:

(c3) Do[Lord, God of hosts](g)m(g)inus(g) De(g)us(g) Sa(g)ba(f)oth[*](g)

The bracketed asterisk would show the end of the group, and the text would
effectively be centered between "Do-" and "-oth".

Could something like this be easily implemented? If not, I would be willing to
offer a reasonable commission to someone who might be able to consider this and
some other enhancements that I find myself needing for my work.

Please let me know,

Adam Bartlett
