When everything is worked out, I'll try and build the mac package. The instructions are seriously out of date for such a package, but I think I can adapt them for the current OS.
This is certainly due to the fact that the gregoriotex*.tex files are now in a different location, and if you did not remove the old files, they might have precedence over the new ones and thus don't be used.
David, does installing your new package automatically removes the old files? If not, is it possible to add this behavior? I do it in windows/install.lua by removing some directories. I think this is something many people will experiment, so it's quite important to test this...
