Hi Elie,

you should read "Le chant grégorien redécouvert" from Maurice Tillie :

You'll find such type of answers.

Objet: [Gregorio-users] Gabc change: virga reversa

Dear all,

Before I answer further on ancient neumatic notation, I wanted to say I
had to make a change in gabc in Gregorio 2.4 (the current svn): "gv"
(and "Gv") procudes a virga, as usual, but "gV" (and "GV") now produces
a reverted virga, with stem on the left. So please update your gabc
files accordingly.

Also, it's not important, but in the code I've named this virga with
stem on the left "virga reversa", that what came in my mind when I did
it, but I'm definitely not sure of the name... should I change it?

Thank you,

Elie
