I did, and it made as much sense as sanskrit does to me. (NOT!)  Sorry, I learn 
by good examples, even IBM 370 Assembler is easier than this.  LOL

You should look at the geometry package (type texdoc geometry in a terminal) ; 
it will let you change several dimensions.

I'm new to LaTex and I'm finding it daunting to get the Margins to change.  
Does anyone have a practical example that makes the margins larger than 1.5 in. 
default to something like 2 or 3 inches?  Or vice versa?  Or even different 
paper size?


This is the most frustrating part--worse than the TeXworks issue with Mavericks.
