Dear Michael,

There are two web sites that let you run Gregorio on their machines without installing anything on your own system. The nuns wouldn't be able to use them if they have no internet access, but if you are looking to make PDF scores for them, they'll be very handy.

I set up the first one: http://gregorio.gabrielmass.com/
And a little publishing company set up a very nice one: http://illuminarepublications.com/gregorio/

You can find links to tutorials and other resources at http://gregoriochant.org/

There's also a great collection of pieces already typeset using Gregorio at http://gregobase.selapa.net/ .

With regards,

Dear Sir/Madam,
My Carmelite daughter wanted a simple music notation program for Gregorian chant. I can only find yours that does not have tim signatures. I've been through it twice and can't even get started. How am I going to be able to get it to her, if I can't even get it running (she doesn't have Inet nor half my pc skills)?? I'm an engineer, but the instructions do not match what happens, nor tells you how to get going, like how to just open an existing/new file and write using gabc, and print it.

It has to be easier. I just has to be. There must be a simple .exe file you put in a folder with one example file, and one file on commands to get the type output you want in Word(R) or PDF output???? Can you just package the three and send it to me?

When I follow your instructions I can't even get the same pulldown 'Gregorio' as your instructions show. I am totally lost.

Just trying to help some nuns get fresh copies of old latin chant for new songbooks,

Michael
