Can you try the package distributed on https://github.com/gregorio-project/gregorio/releases and see if it works well for you too? Next step for Mac packaging would be to remove the dependency to "Packages" and build the package only with the native XCode tools like pkgbuild and productbuild, your opinion and help on that would be helpful!
