Would you mind sending the generated .gtex file? Something doesn't make sense because the files you are sending work fine on my computer using 4.0.0-beta2. On Windows there is a batch file installed with Gregorio called system-setup.bat which will create a file in your %TEMP% directory called system-setup.log. If you are using Windows, please run this batch file and attach the log. If you are not using Windows, let us know which operating system you are using and which installer you used to install Gregorio.
