I was trying to make a clean installation of gregorio 4.0.0-rc2 in
/openSUSE/ Leap 42.1 + TeXLive 2014 + Scribus
 following instructions from
http://gregorio-project.github.io/installation-linux.html

--------------------

Compilation and installing went well, without error messages excepts some
fontforge's
ones but it not seems to be problems with ttf fonts.

I followed also the instructions to configurate Scribus from
http://gregorio-project.github.io/introduction-scribus.html

--------------------

When I created a gregorio frame in a Scribus page, I got an error image instead
of the
pdf image of Populus Sion. So I looked to the luatex log and it claims:
> ! LaTeX Error: File `gregoriotex.sty' not found.

Well, searching for gregoriotex.sty in /usr,
I found it only in /usr/*local*/share/texmf/tex/luatex/gregoriotex
ut in /openSUSE/ never a binary or anything else is installed in
/usr/*local*... Usually is an
empty tree.

In fact, all template&others files for texmf are allocated,
for example, in /usr/share/texmf.

So, I copied the contents of /usr/local/share/texmf
to the right places in /usr/share/texmf...
but nothing changes: Scribus continues without generating a pdf image and with
the
same error log.

So, I proceded to reinstall all the TeXLive package, et voilá!, all seems fine.

--------------------

Perhaps the developers may change the configurations files so to detect where
the TeX's
config and templates files are. May be, to allow a flag or a prompt question
about the
directory to use: /usr/share/texmf or /usr/*local*/share/texmf

--------------------

Anyway, congratulation for the developers!: wonderful software.
Thanks.

God bless you!
