Dear All,

I’m sorry to underline always the same problems, but that’s it… line break
before euouae is still not correct. I set \gresetbreakbeforeeuouae{ragged},
waited for 2 passes (also 3, 4, 5 passes…), and now euouae block is rightly
pushed in a new line, when necessary, but still lines before euouae block
are still randomly justified (and not ragged) and custos is still there
(again, randomly, and not always). This happens in my bigger projects,
while in MWE I attach, custos is always suppressed (so maybe there’s a
conflict somewhere in my macros, again).

Anyway this MWE shows my supposition: I guess there’s a length line until
which Gregorio justifies correctly the line (prophetae-MWE1), another
length until which Gregorio justifies the line but it shouldn’t, and I have
to add a Z- before <eu> tag to have the line ragged (prophetae-MWE2), and
another length that gives the correct ragged output (prophetae-MWE3).

The problem is that in some (not so rare) cases, if I add Z- before the
<eu> block, then Gregorio pushes last syllable with divisio finalis in a
new line alone, I can't understand why.

So my trials now should:

1) discover why in big projects custos before euouae are not suppressed,
even if I use the default gsp file…

2) finely tune my gsp file, because maybe there's something I can do there
to solve that strange line breaks.

By the way: I always need 3 passes to have the final output fixed.

If someone has any suggestions or hints to give me, they're welcome!

Thank you,

Sr. Maria Ruth
