The long tail figure is used when a liquescent stropha is on a line,
and the regular figure is used when a liquescent stropha is in a
space.  The figures are in their desired form, so if there's anything
else you want, you'll need a custom font.

There's currently no way to fuse into a stropha, so what you want is not
currently possible.  If you can, please create your feature request at
https://github.com/gregorio-project/gregorio/issues with some sample
images if possible.  If you cannot do this, please provide some sample
images and I'll create the feature request.
