That behavior is buggy and I'll write up a bug report to get it fixed.

However, in the meantime you can manually adjust this space by changing `spacelinestext`. Use `\grechangedim` to adjust this distance. Normally the change is global, but you can make it local to a particluar score by enclosing the `\grechangedim` command and the `\gregorioscore` command in a set of braces (`{}`).

Furthermore, we have `\grechangenextscorelinedim` for making the change for just a single line in a particular score. This would be useful if you only wanted to apply the change to the line in the score where the problem occurs. This command can be called multiple times to affect multiple lines.
