Some of the plots should not be smooth. The binomial and Poisson distributions may look smooth in the limit, but the probability mass is non-zero only at integer values, and the straight lines that gretl draws between such points are only guides for the eye. Are you seeing non-smooth plots that really should be smooth? Allin.
