I have just seen that the boxplot is now available for use with vectors. I think it would be worthwhile to have the graphical output of the freq command working on vectors, with a similar syntaxis:
freq 1 --matrix=test --output=display which would result in a plot of the histogram for the first column of the matrix test. Eventually the other output could be provided through accessors (like midpoints of bins and relative frequencies)? Thanks for considering this. Would it be possible to activate this feature? This would also increase the consistency, as it is already possible to use the gnuplot command for matrices. Maybe one can use a similiar syntax as for the gnuplot command: boxplot 1 2 3 --matrix=test --output=display Additionally, in the case that columns are named by 'colnames' before, it would be helpful to plot these strings as well. That's now done in CVS and snapshots.
