But the pxmean() function in the PanelTools package does indeed appear to do
essentially what I want to do.
Maybe worth mentioning: you get the same result as with pxmean() from
PanelTools via this use of built-in functions
series my_mean = pxsum(x) / pxnobs(x)
So pxmean() is now also natively in gretl 2025b, right?
