REG:-- Your comment. r u creating the cookies in onclick function debug it whether it is reaching the createCookie funciton and readCookie fn r not and make sure u have these 2 fns in ur main page and u are calling the same var on both createCookie and readCookie fns. Tested the cookies function. create cookie function is reaching. but read function is not working. Kinldy let us know.
