I didn't set anyone up, sugar. Did you actually read the entire
thread, or just the two posts prior to yours?

I told malar vizhi what was needed:
"What you want to do definitely requires some javascript
programming knowledge. You might want to either look for a different
windowing library, or hire someone who can do it for you. Very minor
task, shouldn't take more than 15min max. "

malar vizhi said:
"Can you please give me a coding straight away? "

Since I had quite explicitly said they needed to hire someone, I don't
think it's unfair to quote my rate and ask for payment. Snarky
comments about my professionalism by a third party are hardly
warranted. I post frequently to this group, have provided code
samples often, and gotten into fairly in depth help on tricky problems
with several posters. All without payment, I might add. However, I
don't feel bad about asking for payment for custom web work, which is
my job. I'm not about to undercut my own livelihood. I'm altruistic
and community minded, but not to the point of starving myself to
benefit others.

And frankly in my opinion what's truly sad about newsgroups in general
is judgmental holier than thou wankers who feel they can dispense
words of wisdom from their oh so high moral ground based solely on
having lightly skimmed posts so they can get some cheap ego
gratification. Particularly when their profile shows that they
contributed exactly zero posts other than trying to take a cheap shot.

And thanks thchipmunk for your support, of me, greybox and malar
vizhi :) Tho sugar is right and you did blast him/her as if they were
the original poster instead of for being a troll. I'm not sure your
code will be much help, tho, as malar vizhi is unclear as to what a
function is - s/he really does need professional help for this,
methinks.
