It took a while to find a solution that worked for me with the issue of .swf movies displaying above the vail that greyBox displays. There are post out there that seem to fix the issues using
wmode transparent or opaque. This worked for me in IE and Saf but not FF 2.5 - 3.0 The solution I found that works in everything I have tested on (IE 6 / 7 [FF 2.5 -3.0 inc MAC] and Saf 3.2.1. is swfObject 2.1 I had been using 1.0 before NOT the standard embed /object methods to avoid ActiveX and other IE nasties. Get 2.1 here: http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/ I used the static embed method and it worked a charm out of the box (so to speak) Now for a cup of tea. (yes....
