Not an answer, I'm afraid, because I have a similar problem.
When I call the Greybox popup, everything works great in IE, Firefox
etc, but in Safari (yes, I know - use a decent browser!) if the
'calling page' has a flash display running (and unfortunately there is
one on the welcome page which will usually be the calling page) the
flash presentation shows on top of the popup.
I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but can't see what!
