Dear Dawid, Here are some answers to your registry questions. > 2.2 Other thing is to get an image of the whole organization - so you > can have a few clusters with GRIA services. Yes, it is possible to have a single GRIA registry containing all GRIA services in an organisation. The registry service is a factory for registries. One of the registries at the service could be used to contain all the organisation's services. You might also want to use a registry to record all resources (both internal and external) available to a particular project. > Is the information in the registry dynamic? (if some service > is down is > it reflected, checked) ? > How the information is provided ? - services are automatically > registered out there or the administrator registers them? The services would have to be added by hand by someone (but this information is not rapidly changing of course). It is easy to do in the GRIA GUI, just using drag and drop. Some information in the registry is dynamic. For instance, the registry will pull usage information from the SLA service so that the usage of an SLA can be queried as part of a service selection decision. Unfortunately the state (up/down) of a service is not recorded.
