i tested adding "ssh=password" and "swspeak ssh=password" to the boot
options. I was able to ssh in both times but swspeak appears to do
nothing. Everything else wrt software speech works though. I was able to
get software speech on a laptop. I was also able to get speech via a
hardware speech synthesizer on a server.
So all the accessibility features of previous releases work fine. I
don't know if you intended to get swspeak working again. Maybe next time.
Thanks.
PS: I wish I had taken advantage of grml2usb long ago. Having a thumb
drive handy that will allow me to ssh into a down server would have come
in handy many times in the past. I have this thing similar to a selfie
stick so I can point my phone at a monitor and have it read me the
screen. I used that to tell when to press the key to bring up boot
device selection. Then I could kind of guess that the USB stick was 3rd
on the list. The whole thing took me probably only like a minute or 2.
Piece o' cake.
