Removing the module fails because some services are using ipv6 stuff
already. The safe way to remove all the ipv6 stuff is to run
'blacklist ipv6' and reboot. This way the ipv6 module won't be
loaded at all and so won't come back - as long as you don't
unblacklist it again of course. ;)
