I certainly understand. I did subscribe to the
announcement list in case either a different speech engine is
used or there is some other way that software speech becomes an
option again in grml. In the mean time, it looks like the last
Oralux disk works properly on the laptop in question but I sure
would have rather used a Debian-based distribution since all my
other Linux systems are pure Debian.
