obwohl grml dafür nicht gemacht ist, frage ich mich doch, warum die
GoogleEarth-Installation out of the box in /opt nach dem Startbildschirm
sich verabschiedet.

Bei der Installation war folgende Meldung aufgefallen:
Loci-Setup: Verdächtiger Größenwert für Option option
Wie kann man dem abhelfen?
