[Test Case] * Check the autopkgtest for php-horde-activesync. It fails with "ERROR 1698 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'" without this fix. [Regression Potential] * No change the to code itself, as installed on a user's system, so no chance of regression. MySQL 5.7 no longer allows a non-root Unix user to login as MySQL root if an empty root password was set.
