The problem here is that the list of choices is implemented in the templates file itself and becomes replaced. The wireless choice is replaced with an empty string. A possible solution would be to create the complete choices string within the netcfg module. However, this might have an impact on translation then. I will leave the final decision up to Canonical how to solve this. Thanks.
