On Xenial:

$ dig +sigchase
Invalid option: +sigchase
...

On Bionic:
$ dig +sigchase
No trusted keys present

So it appears that the problem no longer exists on Bionic: dig does
understand the option.

Bug description:
  This was apparently fixed for Hardy in bug #257682.
  But problem is present in Xenial, Zesty and upstream
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=822562

  The DIG_SIGCHASE is present in some commands in the build log, but not
  for those compiling bin/dig.
