Wouldn’t GROW be an excellent forum for that conversation, since GROW brings together both IXP operators and network operators? Of course I’d love to hear from IXP RS operators who think that “Option A” is not feasible. What use case is there to strictly honor NO_EXPORT as described in RFC 1997 on a route server? Can they describe how that is in the best interest of the IXP RS participants? Kind regards, Job Ps. You say “this has been tried before”, but I’m not aware of such efforts.
