Hello Grow, grow-chairs, Now that the tlv-ebit draft is part of the working group, we would like to continue the discussion for draft-cppy-grow-bmp-path-marking-tlv.
The draft proposes a TLV in BMP to mark the status of a path in the BGP process. That is, mark whether the path is best-path, a back-up, primary, invalid, etc. We just released a new version, mainly with some edits and adding some status. Chairs, could we pretty please have a 8 minutes slot for this draft in London? BGP Path Information is conveyed within BMP Route Monitoring (RM) messages. This document proposes an extension to BMP to convey the status of a path after being processed by the BGP process. This extension makes use of the TLV mechanims described in draft-ietf-grow-bmp-tlv [I-D.ietf-grow-bmp-tlv] and draft-ietf-grow-bmp-tlv-ebit [I-D.ietf-grow-bmp-tlv-ebit]. The IETF Secretariat
