Hello all, v02 of our draft has switched to JSON sequences for large files rather than standard JSON documents, greatly reducing memory requirements when creating or parsing large IRR registries. It also includes updates in allowing GZIP (still looking into other compression options) to make files easier to handle, adjustments regarding encoding, and various text clarifications.
RIPE NCC has since implemented an NRTMv4 mirror server in the RIPE database software, based on v01 and to be updated for v02, and I will be working on a mirror client implementation in IRRDv4 in the next few months so that we can see interoperability.
