I have submitted 01, incorporating the feedback I received on the 00 draft.
A couple of questions for the list:
1. I have changed data types for several fields, but some fields with
the "string" type remains. I have added restrictions for these cases.
Please have a look if they make sense.
2. In [1], Dale suggested the idea of enumerating some common uses cases
in the model. I'm hesitant about going down this path. For the reasons
already mentioned in his mail, but also because even for simple use
cases there is a wide variety of options. For example, a use case for
prepend-x-times would have to support different varieties like
"prepend-x-to-as", "prepend-x-to-region", "prepend-x-to-country".
If people feel strongly that we should pursue this as part of this draft
I am open to suggestions on how to implement it.
3. The current version of the model supports Two-Octet and Four-Octet
AS-Specific Extended Communities. Are there other Extended Community
types we should be supporting in this work? If so, which ones?
