Thanks for the suggestion! I have uploaded 2 files:
GrowlHelperApp1.txt - Sampled when the CD rom was not making the noise. GrowlHelperApp2.txt - Sampled when the CD rom WAS making the noise. As you can see, GrowlHelperApp2.txt had additional lines, beginning with : 13 AEProcessAppleEvent and ending with 1 mmap Any insight is greatly appreciated.
