Hi,
I'm running Growl 1.1.4 on Leopard 10.5.6. I'm using growl with
several applications like firefox, thunderbird, gizmo5 and some custom
scripts using growlnotify. For some of them I have configured sound
notifications choosing among the default sounds and they play just
fine when I select them. Furthermore when I dtruss GrowlHelperApp I
can see it accessing the sound file I selected:

Nonetheless I get a popup but no sound, never, none of the configured
apps work.
One thing I've noticed, altho I've no idea if it's supposed to show up
there, is that when it writes the ticket there's no mention of the
sound:
