Then Growl is working. Applications register themselves. If an application doesn't, then it isn't talking to Growl at all, and you forcing it into the list would not make a difference. That's why we don't provide such a feature: it would not fix anything. According to a post on our forums[1], you need to turn on some option in Mercury's preferences. If that doesn't work, you need to contact the Mercury developers.
