I have tried various combinations of turning Growl off from the Preferences pane, having it not start at logon and the re-booting and starting it manually, etc. All to no avail.
Entourage is playing the tone according to the Rule, but I am not sure how to track down where or how or why it cannot find Growl. Any suggestions?
