I noticed this on my testing environment installing (with g-wi) and
uninstalling Growl several times and around 40% of the time it happened.
This was also reported by some users so it seems to me that there is nothing
consistent about the systems that report this issue.

The Growl prompt works fine, the one that doesn't show all the time is the
System Preferences prompt that Growl calls when you click install.
