I wonder whether the volume of notifications alone explains the crash. Since I have disabled most of my OmniGrowl notifications, I haven’t seen one crash. If it was simply a matter of probabilities, I should have seen it again at least once since then. I wonder whether it could not be the timing that makes all the difference, eg: a large number of updates in a short amount of time.
