There is a built-in update checker, but it's not powered by Sparkle, and you'll need to install the update yourself. Also, remember that the extras and Growl itself are separate installations, so you'll need to update them separately as well. Not that this is terribly relevant yet: The changes shown in the movie are not yet in a release. The next release, which will have the new behavior and icons, will be 1.1.5b2—a beta, so it won't show up in the updater. I'll put that out sometime this week, once I restore my TM back-up to my new hard drive.
