Yes you can. You launched it. (It's GrowlTunes, BTW.) First, make sure it's not in Login Items. If it is, remove it from there. If you don't know where Login Items is, it's not there because you would have had to add it yourself. Next, make sure it's not running. It'll have a pair of headphones in the menu bar if it is. Choose “Quit GrowlTunes” from that menu.
