Just want to add to this thread. Growl puts a lot of messages into my
Snow Leopard console. These illustrate the variety, but the number
(and variety of object classes mentioned) is far greater. - Another
issue is that in order to look at the Growl pref pane I have to quit
system preferences and let it start up again in 32-bit mode.
