Yes. Growl 1.1.6 had a problem where it would log many, many messages to the Console about there not being an autorelease pool. Growl 1.2b1 and later contain the fix, but the messages are still in your system log for another 24 hours. As long as they're there, TimeMachineGrowler is going to have a lot of log messages to search. Assuming you've already upgraded to Growl 1.2b2, the problem of high CPU usage will go away over the next 24 hours.
