Peter, I know exactly what you mean and I did see the same thing. I'm working on an application that sometimes have to launch another helper app. Even though the application is faceless (background only), the system will disable my app which is confusing a bit because the window is still visible and nothing else changes on the screen. Very annoying. I've tried many tricks like reactivating my app to no avail. I hope someone did file this as a bug. Maybe I'll add a ticket myself....
