I have two MacBook Pros that I upgraded to OS X 10.6.

I got this message when opening Mail:

"Incompatible Plug-ins Disabled
Mail has disabled the following plug-ins:

        GrowlMail

Contact the makers of these plug-ins for versions that are compatible
with Mail 4.1 and Message 4.1."

I followed the instructions for removing growl from System
Preferences, and it worked fine.

On the other machine, there was no growl preference pane. I downloaded
the installer and tried the uninstall script, but it couldn't find two
files (that had "growl" in their name). I then installed growl, and
tried the uninstall script; no success. I then tried the system
preferences method (which worked on the other machine), but am still
getting the warning message. Any tips?
